One of two liberal Democrats  in the race, Connolly boasts experience as a former Marin Co. Supervisor, Vice-Mayor of San Rafael, and CA Deputy Attorney General.   In addition to environmental causes, he advocates for social justice, racial and gender equity, and reproductive rights in his campaign.
