"My position includes: (1) Those in prison for convictions of marijuana-related offenses that are now legal in Michigan should have been released within the first 30 days of Gov. Whitmer taking office, (2) therefore they should be released immediately and compensated at the standard $1000 per month for the difference in time and (3) the recent expungement law revision is to little and the 2 1/2 years before taking effective is unconscionable."
