Candidate in race for State House District 41 on Tuesday, November 8, 2022
I believe marijuana should be legalized all the way down to “home grow” at the state level, and the prohibition is an egregious overreach by our federal government.
Simple possession shouldn’t be illegal. Period. I fully support decriminalization.
I am in full support of automatic expungement of non-violent marijuana possession convictions.
The government should not be involved in an individual’s pain or anxiety management, especially when the method is not addictive. Medical marijuana should be legalized down to “home grow”.
Responsible adults with medical cards should be able to grow their own source of marijuana without taxation. The only regulation necessary would be the amount of plants each person or household is allowed to have. If a vendor wants to sell their crop, then regulations and taxation may be imposed along with the necessary licenses.
