Walden holds a healthy level of skepticism towards many claims regarding marijuana, and instead of using the present lack of knowledge as a tool for upholding prohibition, he is advocating for more research to be done before heavier judgments are to be made. In order to do accomplish this, he advocates for easier access and diminished criminal restrictions surrounding the substance.
