“As states move to legalize marijuana, especially for medical reasons, the economic opportunities that are present for an agricultural state like our own are immense. Farmers who are struggling to make ends meet would be able to grow a cash crop that is part of the fastest growing industry in our country,” said Dogan. “We would keep this decision on the local level and in the hands of the residents in each county.
