Comments

"With the many issues our nation is facing, the Democrats’ priority is legalizing marijuana. This is insanity! I voted NO on the Democrats’ legislation to legalize marijuana nationwide. #DemocratsUpInSmoke" (04/01/22)

"Universities can conduct marijuana research if they go through proper procedures, but Dems want to skirt the rules. Who’s to say we won’t have Pot Smoking 101 classes dedicated to smoking marijuana under the false pretense of 'research'?" (07/27/21)

Q: Do you support medical marijuana or any form of legalization?

A:˙No, I do not support the legalization of marijuana. We have a problem now with drug abuse. There is no reason to create an environment that will lead to more harm to our community and children. 7/02/18

When activists gathered enough signatures on a petition to put a cannabis legalization initiative on the AZ ballot Lesko tweeted, "Bad news for Arizona. This will only lead to more drug abuse and problems" (06/29/16)

With regards to Proposition 205 which would have legalized marijuana in Arizona Lesko writes, "Arizona is already battling the effects of drug and alcohol abuse. The last thing we need in our state is to create an environment that will make it worse." (10/03/16)
