When asked if he opposes or supports marijuana legalization, he replied-

"No. This is a much bigger issue than a yes or no answer, and with limited space to discuss makes it very difficult. My position is not based on a narrow view or personal opinion but on extensive research, science and facts. Science has proven, and all major scientific and medical organization agree, that marijuana is both addictive and harmful to the human brain, especially when used as an adolescent. Just too risky to chance."
