Position on Marijuana Legalization

Bringing cannabis into the legal market and out of the criminal realm will help everyone with safer products, less crime and more tax revenue generated by the State.

We need automatic expungement. Our former approach to the "war on drugs" resulted in disproportionate punishment of Black and Brown citizens and is a shameful part of Virginia History that must be fixed with expungement.

Position on Medical Marijuana

As an educator, I think talking about marijuana use in terms of medical need is a good way to talk to young people. It's a good communication method for convincing people to accept marijuana use.
