"As such, I support ending the prohibition of the adult (age 21+) usage of marijuana, which prevents the regulation and taxation of an activity that already widely occurs. Not only can ending our marijuana prohibition help with funding essentials like roads and education, but there are also many other possible positive aspects such as: encouraging entrepreneurship and the creation of new small businesses, ending a law that is unequally enforced, freeing up law enforcement bandwidth for enforcing stricter requirements for gun dealers (which I also support).
