A Terri LeGrand (D - NC) LEGALIZE, TAX, AND REGULATE MEDICAL USE
"I support legalizing medical and recreational marijuana with some restrictions. Legalizing the sale and use of marijuana for recreational and medical uses requires careful evaluation of the myriad potential consequences and outcomes. Any legalization of marijuana should include effective restrictions to minimize access for anyone under 21 years old. Treatment for adolescent marijuana abusers should be universally available, not punishment and the revenue stream for treatment should be funded by fees and taxes from marijuana sales. Warning labels should be placed on smokeable products, and the marketing , distribution, and sales should be well regulated.” -NORML of Catawba Valley
