Holds office State House District 86
I believe that we should be legalizing and regulating marijuana much like we do with alcohol. Marijuana is much safer substance than alcohol in terms of physical health and inebriation however we have to be smart about who can access it.
Non-violent possession charges should not be a crime that is punishable by imprisonment. Period. We have moved towards full legalization of marijuana and therefore we should retroactively apply that legalization to all of those who have been imprisoned for non-violent possession charges.
Healthcare should be readily accessible for all those who need it and medical prescriptions that they need should be easily affordable and accessible. No one should be barred from the medical services either from legal barriers or from distance.
