"I believe that my state of Pennsylvania and the federal government should end the prohibition of marijuana. Marijuana should be as legal as beer is. Marijuana is a safer drug than alcohol in almost every way and the prohibition against it should be ended immediately."

"Marijuana is a safer drug in almost every way than alcohol and at a minimum should be treated the same way as beer and wine."

"Marijuana is a safer drug than alcohol and opioid medications. Half of all violent offenses are committed under the influence of alcohol and many of the opioid addictions that afflict our nation are a direct result of prescription opioid medications. The longer that we prohibit the safer alternative, the more harm we do to our society."

"Not only should possession of marijuana be decriminalized, but all past criminal possession charges should be expunged nationwide."

"Marijuana has been proven to have multiple medical benefits and is safer than many of the legal prescription drugs on the market today. The United States should legalize medial cannabis immediately."
