Support - I believe adults have the inherent right to make whichever choices they see best fit for their own lives. Because of my view, I co-sponsored legislation to legalize adult use of marijuana.

Support - Keeping simple possessions a felony not only destroys the lives of individuals, but also their families. There is an ever increasing call from justices to pass legislation to legalize marijuana or at a minimum decriminalization. Not only would this stop destroying lives, but we'd see a drastic drop in court cases which would reduce the financial burden to tax payers. I co-sponsored decrim legislation along with support the current decrim ballot initiative.

Support - Government should not be in the same conversation that is between a patient and their doctor. That is why I sponsored legislation to legalize medical marijuana.
