This will bring marijuana until the fully legal market and help small business owners and communities that have been formerly discriminated against by allowing them to reap economic benefits from the legal sale.
I am very supportive of this. I work with women returning from the criminal justice system who experience discrimination in employment and services because of their criminal records. I am glad we have decriminalized marijuana but we also need to expunge possession charges.
We should be removing barriers for patients and for business owners. We should also make it affordable for those who need it most by including it in all kinds of insurance coverage, including Medicaid.
