One of two Demcrats in the race, Stephanie Nguyen is  the Executive Director of Asian Resources, Inc, serving low-income, immigrant, and refugee communities, including ex-convicts.   She has served as a councilmember and vice-mayor of Elk Grove, a town that has no licensed cannabis dispensaries.   The wife of a police officer, she is a strong advocate for public safety.
