Governor Sanders vetoed House Bill 1889, entitled “An Act to Amend the Limitations on Access to a Dispensary or Cultivation Facility; To Authorize a Dispensary to Deliver Orders via a Delivery Vehicle or via a Drive-Through Window,” stating, "This legislation would expand access to usable marijuana, therefore I am vetoing this legislation." Said that she plans to vote against the proposed constitutional amendment that would legalize recreational marijuana in Arkansas. "I don't think that with the drug epidemic that we have across this state, frankly across the country, that adding and giving more access to that does anything to benefit Arkansas, so I certainly wouldn't be supportive of that," she told reporters. 10/4/2022
