In response to 2022 NC Family Policy Council’s question “Should Congress legalize the use of marijuana for medical purposes?” UNDECIDED with the note: "I generally support the use of medical marijuana only if it is prescribed by a medical provider (MD, DO, NP, PA) and dispensed by a medical provider (MD, DO, NP, PA, RN Pharmacist). I have talked to many people who have said that medical marijuana has been momumental in their pain control. I aalso know much more potent drugs are prescribed and dispensed every day. This labeled use of marijuana needs to be placed under yje label of "pharmaceuticals." I picked uncided as I think this is the role of the state, not the federal government."
D Indicates that this candidate has expressed no support for any significant marijuana law reform; slightly supportive of minor reforms (CBD) in public comments, but not a co-sponsor of any significant reform. Supportive of minor reform, but opposed to legalization.
