 A staunch conservative Republican, Merced County ex-Sheriff Mark Pazin served as law enforcement chief of the California Office of Emergency Services under Gov. Brown and Newsom.  Mark believes in holding the marijuana industry to much of the same regulations (and reduction of those regulations when applicable) as other agriculture industries.
