Support - I support legalizing marijuana but also believe that, with any alcohol or drug use, those who benefit from their sale and use should also contribute to society's education to reduce the amount of abuse that may occur. As we can see from the opioid epidemic, just making a drug legal doesn't mean it won't be abused. Wyoming's alcohol abuse and consumption rates are relatively high already, so I have some concern that making marijuana more readily available could lead to abuse, especially for young people, so educating folks on responsible use and clarifying what are acceptable levels of intoxication for behaviors such as driving a vehicle makes sense to me.

Support - As with most drugs, criminalization is not a solution to drug abuse; that is true for marijuana as well.

Support - I support legalizing the use of physician-authorized medical cannabis. Evidence indicates that it can be an important tool in treatment, especially for pain or to limit the negative side-effects of chemotherapy and other treatments.
