Candidate in race for State House District 75 on Tuesday, November 5, 2024
From her Facebook page 6/26/2024:
I applaud Senator Rabon for sharing his story and advocating for medical marijuana to be available to people in pain and suffering. It seems there are strong provisions in place to prevent sales to minors. As a teacher, it is deeply concerning to me the prevalence of vaping and drug availability to kids and teens, including the availability of alcohol, tobacco and various forms of marijuana. Discussions about substance use are vitally important to be had at home. I do believe though it is the state’s responsibility to provide regulatory safeguards to minimize the incidence of unregulated products getting into the hands of children. I see nothing about this bill that would exacerbate that issue and I encourage folks to ask their legislators to pass it.
B- Candidate/legislator publicly supports legalization of medical cannabis and/or decriminalization.
