On his campaign website, Blalock states, "The federal government should decriminalize marijuana.  We have the highest prison population in the world – partly due to the misguided 30 year war on drugs.  No one’s future should be destroyed for recreational or medical activities done in their own homes which do no harm to others.  Furthermore, legalized marijuana will bring high-paying jobs to Northwest GA and tax revenue which our state can use for education and to make healthcare more affordable."
