Comments

"Our marijuana laws disproportionately harm individuals and communities of color, leading to convictions that damage job prospects, access to housing, and the ability to vote. #WeWantMORE. This critical bill rights the wrongs of the War on Drugs by expunging federal marijuana convictions, reinvesting in communities of color, and promoting equitable participation in the legal marijuana industry." (12/04/20)

"The President has proposed doubling down on mass incarceration and the war on drugs, which drains the African American labor pool."

When asked about medicinal for veterans: "Soliders are coming home from Afghanistan and there must be the kind of treatment that allows them to have a full life. With that in mind, the door should be open, the presentation should be made, and we as memebrs of congress should be looking at the medicinal use of any aspect that will treat coniditons like PTSD."
