"Our marijuana laws disproportionately harm individuals and communities of color, leading to convictions that damage job prospects, access to housing, and the ability to vote. #WeWantMORE. This critical bill rights the wrongs of the War on Drugs by expunging federal marijuana convictions, reinvesting in communities of color, and promoting equitable participation in the legal marijuana industry." "The President has proposed doubling down on mass incarceration and the war on drugs, which drains the African American labor pool."
